The screenings of 42nd Street, as live from the Theatre Royal Dury Lane have been rescheduled and we have a few tickets available. The legendary Broadway musical has been filmed at the Theatre Royal so you can see one of the favourite West End shows without leaving Bourne End. Final screening on 18th July at 18:30.

The screening of Emma. has been rescheduled. Jane Austen's beloved comedy about finding your equal and earning your happy ending is reimagined. Handsome, clever, and rich, Emma Woodhouse is a restless queen bee without rivals in her sleepy little town. Screening is on 18th July at 14:30.

Weatherman Ian Currie talks about 1000 years of famous winters including the freezing of the River Thames and the remarkable events that took place on the ice. This is an online talk via Zoom.

20201112 Bletchley Park

Michael Kushner makes a welcome return in November with a talk entitled "The Journey to Station X" which covers the history of Bletchley Park and formation of signals intelligence up to and throughout WW2. This is an online talk via Zoom.

 

Jazz

Led by trombonist Simon Wyld, The Louisiana Rhythm Kings is a great band of talented and experienced jazz musicians playing both well-loved and forgotten jazz numbers in the true Dixieland style. centreJazz is on Tueday 4th February.

FunNight 2017 WinningDecorationMake a note of the date – it’s Friday 6 December – and TV personality Lorraine Kelly with Angus her dog will be switching on the new light for this year. Fun Night starts at 5pm with the Childrens' light being switched on at 5.15pm outside the Community Centre.
