Forum Players, you local drama group, have been fortunate to have been selected to present this new play in Bourne End. It is part of the Q.THEATRE project funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union, which investigates theatrical works based on Don Quixote, in collaboration with various universities in Spain, Italy, France, Portugal and the University of Sussex in the UK, the latter represented by Dr. Aaron M. Kahn, the author of the play.

One man’s insanity is another man’s reality

This is one of the messages from Aaron M. Kahn’s play, based on Miguel de Cervantes’s 16th century masterpiece. It is spoken by Esperanza, Don Quixote’s niece, the voice of humanity in the play. Cervantes covers a vast array of topics in his novel, from politics to religion to the emancipation of women to name but a few, which may explain why even today Don Quixote is one of the most printed books in the world …. after the Holy Bible.
