David Lane will present an illustrated history of the Wycombe Railway, focusing on the section from Maidenhead to High Wycombe, including the Marlow branch. The talk will explore each station in detail, using many previously unseen photographs, maps, and drawings, covering the period from the line’s opening in 1854 to the closure of the Bourne End–High Wycombe section in 1970. It will also highlight the forgotten stations along the route, some of which closed in the 1860s and 1870s.
