After a break of 5 years The Bourne End Concert Orchestra is set to return later this year. The Orchestra, under the baton of John Timewell, performed concerts every year from 1986 to 2015. Concerts included favourites such as Romeo and Juliet by Tchaikovsky, Die Fledermaus by Straus, Finlandia by Sibelius, Jurassic Park by Williams and Pomp and Circumstance marches by Elgar.
The 2020 orchestra will be under the baton of Jonathan Heard and, as previously, will comprise of the best local musicians. The program is being put together and should be announced in the summer. The concert will be on Sunday 25th October, tickets will be available on this website and from the centre office.
