Walk the Line chronicles the rise of Johnny Cash from a poor boy in Arkansas to a country music icon. The New Royalty Cinema is screening Walk the Line on 17th May at 16:00 at Bourne End Community Centre.
Starring Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon, Walk the Line explores Cash’s childhood trauma, his early recording sessions at Sun Records and his struggles with drug addiction and fame.At its heart, the film is a profound love story focused on Cash's relentless pursuit of June Carter, the love of his life. Walk the Line lasts approximately 135 minutes and is Certificate 12.
