The Traditional Jazz Quintet will be playing an eclectic mix of Dixieland, Gipsy and Benny Goodman style music on 5th March 2024 at the Community Centre.
It’s led by Richard Kellaway (clarinet and sax) who shares Benny’s birthday. Richard was the joint founder of the popular Fabulous Shirtlifters and he’s joined by fellow members Nick John (guitar) and John Howard (keyboard). The line-up is completed by Jim Saunders (bass) and John’s son Mike Howard (drums) who plays a distinctive drum kit. Stand by for a great evening of hot jazz!
