Michael Kushner makes a welcome return in October to talk about Alan Turing and the real Imitation Game. Michael discusses the real work done by Alan Turing at Bletchley Park and elsewhere.
Lived to the age of only 41, but in his short life he became prolific as the Godfather of the modern computer. Born in 1912, a fellow of Kings College Cambridge. During the war at Bletchley Park he broke the most difficult German naval Enigma ciphers. Post-war worked on many new scientific innovations at Manchester University. This Scientific hero was prosecuted over his sexuality and entreated extremely callously.
Michael Kushner talks on many aspects of espionage and ciphers relating WW2. He has previously given centreTalks on Spies, Lies and Double Cross Agents and on Bletchley Park.
